What can YOU get for $5?

It's Tuesday, so it's "What can YOU get for $5" time!   This week I wanted to show you what I was able to score at Kroger by participating in their Cart Buster Deal of The Day promo.  This was a great way to earn ecoupons for FREE items!  Some days were big prizes, some were small, days when the server froze up, days went it didn't...you get the picture.  So while I did not win something each day, I did get several products for FREE, which is always super frugal!

Unfortunatly, it ended on Saturday the 12th.  However a  a new promo has started called Kroger March To Savings.  You can head over there each day from now until April 3 to play for your chance at one of 30,000 instant prizes!

Here's a look at what I picked up at Kroger with my Deal of The Day winnings:

I also won a bag of Chex Mix and the Large Size Coffee Mate which are not pictured.  The retail price of all my ecoupon winnings was over $55!!  I paid NOTHING!!! The cost of the above items were deducted when I swiped my Kroger Plus card! How great is that!!

So, I know your saying "This is supposed to be what can you get for $5, not what can you get for FREE", right?  So here's what I spent the $5 on to reward myself for such a great day....

Another Carmel Java Chiller and this time I added a Cheeseburger !!!!!

What did you get for five bucks this week?  I would love to hear about it!!  Did you participate in the Cart Buster Deal of The Day Promo?  What did you win?

  3. I won the paper towels too but haven't picked them up yet. I was wondering if those 12 giant rolls were included because the coupon said 8+ regular rolls. I'm glad I saw you got those! I can get a couple extra rolls instead of playing it safe with the 8 pack!
